QualiTau, a maker of package and wafer level reliability test systems, has expanded
its product line to enter the electrical parametric test system market.
The DSPT 9012 (Desktop Semiconductor Parametric Tester) was designed specifically for
semiconductor device characterization and testing. Among other features, the system
offers an intuitive Windows-based user interface, a variety of programming tools, and
can have up to 12 independent high accuracy and high power SMUs (Source and Measurement
Units). "The DSPT 9012 is the
result of many years of R&D design and testing and our partners and engineers are
extremely pleased with its performance and features," said Jacob Herschmann, President
of QualiTau. "We had already spent a lot of time and effort improving the precision
stress and measurement capabilities of our high capacity reliability systems. It was a
natural evolution of that technology to develop it into the lower capacity, but higher
precision, SMUs that are needed in a parametric test
system." QualiTau plans to demonstrate The DSPT 9012 at Semicon Europa April 20 - 22,
IEEE IRPS April 25 - 29, and Semicon Singapore May 4 - 6.
